I've downloaded the latest version of Mobirise site builder open source
The navigation me has 2 issues
1) items are inserted white color, so you don't see the labels (home about contact download)
2) most right item (default "download") has no arrow to move it to the left
This is what happen on windows Vista x32 but I suppose it is the same also on other windows versions

If I edit the properties of the "download" most right navigation menu item, and I change the color, it changes the background and not the font
You keep on calling
/assets/bootstrap/css/bootstrap.min.css
something that could even being an alligator but... it is NOT a minimized file :-)
Also it is not the original bootstrap.css file, since it is not present its version in the header initial part of the file
As stated in previous emails, this is a sharp non sense. Why you don't provide the original bootstrap css? Nevertheless the original and minimized one
Why there is a /*! Normalize.css v3.0.2
string inside the bootstrap css that you set in the bootstrap.min.css file. Why this mess?
Are you sure that if I remove the line you set in the page head that links to
assets/bootstrap/css/bootstrap.min.css
and I do substitute it with the CDN link to any bootstrap.min.css
the page will render as expected?
And again... to which bootstrap.min.css version should I link??? You have removed the bootstrap version from inside the file... so how da hell :-) we should figure out which is it?
On the other hand, strangely, you keep the bootstrap.min.js as expected. So what is the point of this difference?
Hello
Have a good sunday
I add the header section
I click on the text
I open the drop down list of available fonts
That list is really limited against the one available on google fonts
How do I add my favorites google fonts to the mobirise list?
P.S.
I'm observing a strange phenomenon. If I do analyze the title string "MOBIRISE WEBSITE BUILDER"
I see that the font-family "Roboto" is set in the hugly-modified-by-you-at-mobirise bootstrap.min.css' body section
So? What does that mean?
Mean that if I remove the local loading of the bootstrap.min.css and I turn to load the original bootstrap.min.css from a CDN...
... something won't work anymore as expected. Please set your custom modification in a different file. Also, please consider using the real, original and conform copy of the bootstrap.min.css file
Thanks for advices.
We will fix the css files issue in the future. Sorry, fixing date is unknown.
Unfortunately you can't add your own font now.
from time to time I test Mobirise new releases
I do notice it is still not usable in production because of this reason
If turn this line
<link rel="stylesheet" href="assets/bootstrap/css/bootstrap.min.css">
to use the bootstarp CDN
https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.4/css/bootstrap.min.css
(I've used 3.3.4 because I see that as bootstrap js you have the 3.3.4)
the appearance of the mobirise page goes SCRAP!!!
It would make MUCH MUCH MORE sense that you set your customizations
into your own CSS and not to going tricking what is a standard file!!
NEVER THE LESS this scrappy assets/bootstrap/css/bootstrap.min.css it
is not neither partially minified, so why D.F. calling it .min.css ??
Come on guys, do the things the right way ;-)
In few words, I'd never pay/buy your editor plugin until I won't see
you to use standards.
And what is worse ... is that you have your own CSS files and they are 2
so it is a double non sense that you go modifying the original bootstarp minified file which worse than worse pases from 100Kb of weight up to 151Kb because not minified anymore
We use modified Bootstrap style properties for our theme. This file isn't minified actually.
We use our own style properties that are in another file, and mbr-additional.css is for custom user changes.
