I have been trying out Mobirise open source wysiwyg web builder v1.7 for the last couple of days, using my MacBook Pro, latest version.
So far, one of the major issues I see is the loading time. For some reason it seems to stay on the loading splash screen for almost 5 minutes sometimes.
Also, when I use a video for the background, it seems to be glitchy when it restarts the looping process. Not sure why that is? I didn’t try it on any other browser besides Safari, so not sure if this is only a Safari issue. But all in all this is a really nice drag and drop site builder! I will keep testing it and let you know if I come across any other issues.

I think the drag and drop builder is coming along great. I think one of the issues that you might have is the font is too small on the editor. The editor in which I am speaking is the one when you drag a block onto the website that you are building and then you click on something to edit. The editor that pops up is way too small to read well.
Also, some people like to post more than one video per line and I think this should be an option, instead of one video per block. This is the second email I'm sending. I sent one on an earlier release and seems to look really good so far.
One other thing is that I think the option to make the header narrower would be great, unless that width is needed for the parallax effect?
The Header block has the size of a browser window. All the blocks are of the same width. Or do you mean the height of a header block? You can use another block instead.
Yes I was actually only referring the the height of the header block, the width is perfect! Full width headers are great!
The drag and drop designer is actually coming along fantastic! I enjoy designing sites with your editor and have given a lot of feedback already.
Everything is looking awesome and I think you are designing one of the best editors I have ever seen.
However, there are still a few bugs and improvements that I can see…
First, I am using a MacBook Pro (usually I use a Windows laptop) and I see that when I drag and drop the menu header into the site page, it doesn’t stay separated in it’s own block, it is overlapping on the block below it. Not sure why that is happening.
And when I delete the block below it to see if that helps, it overlaps onto the other block that was below the one I just deleted.
Second, I think that the slider that you have with the editor should be able to have the option to be animated. A lot of clients like their sliders to slide the images without having their visitors manually slide through the images.
It should also have an adjustable time for when you want the slides to move. Plus I think a height adjustment would be great. Either that or have the option to install third party slide software.
Finally, I think the three squares, Move (Green)/Settings (Blue)/Delete(Red) should be on the left side of the blocks because when you open the block categories they tend to open over those three options and you have to always close the
available blocks in order to access those three options.
I hope I didn’t annoy you with these bugs and improvements that I suggested. I just want to be able to use an editor that is totally worth buying and I’m sure you guys do as well. And believe me, this editor is totally on it’s way there!
There is an autoplay feature in a slider block, but it stops on hover.
