The facebook comment block was not functional on my site, after it became line using Mobirise my free website builder version 2.7.6.

I purchased the PurityM theme and I am trying to use the ‘Facebook Comments’ extension. There is no where to put our Facebook url to pull the comments from. The only setting is the number of comments and there is no setting for this in the ‘Site’ settings. Using the Win v2.9.

How does the extension work?

This comments block is for a page only. Add this block to your page just before publication and check it online.

It is 'online'

html generated is:

<section class="mbr-section" id="facebook-comments-block-6">
    <div class="mbr-section__container mbr-section__container--isolated
container">
        <div class="row">
            <div class="col-sm-8 col-sm-offset-2"><div
class="facebookPlaceholder" data-numposts=""><h2>FACEBOOK COMMENTS WILL BE
SHOWN ONLY WHEN YOUR SITE IS ONLINE</h2> <img
src="assets/images/facebook-comments.jpg"></div></div>
        </div>
    </div>
</section>

That is only going to show " FACEBOOK COMMENTS WILL BE SHOWN ONLY WHEN YOUR

SITE IS ONLINE"

And the image at assets/images/facebook-comments.jpg

There is nothing in here that is going to do anything different than this.

Please try to delete this facebook block and add it once again. Don't close the application - publish your site just after adding this block.

How to set up FACEBOOK COMMENTS?

Please remove the comments block and publish your site just after adding this block.

Made on Your instructions. Comments work, but in the account or a Facebook page do not post.

Writes "Write 6 more characters to post to Facebook".

You should have at least 6 characters in your comment to post it on Facebook.

The app looks great. Does it have blogging blocks especially with comments?

You can use article blocks and the facebook comments extension.

Thanks but how do I direct the extension to a facebook page? Is there any doc about this?

Facebook comments block will work only when your site is online. The comments will be automatically linked with the url of your page.

Which page the mobilise site or the Facebook page?

I imagine that I will need to start a new Facebook page for the site rather than the usual personal page.

Am I correct?

You don't need to create a page on facebook. Just add the block and publish your site online. You can test it publishing on Google Drive.

I hate having to work around the Facebook comments glitch by having to remove the blocks and add them again without closing the program. I have lots of pages and this is rediculous when I'm making small updates.

I hope this issue will be fixed in Mobirise soon.
