Hi there,
I downloaded Mobirise onto my Mac, and have enjoyed building the first couple pages of my small business's new website.
BUT - I can't seem to figure out how to share it with my colleagues? How can they easily view it (from a visitor's perspective), and how can my associate edit the pages he is responsible for?
Thanks for your urgent help.
For example you can publish your site to a Google Drive so that everybody could immediately see it if they have a link. To edit the pages on different PC you should export your site and then import it on a PC you want.
Open the 'Sites' panel and click on the blue gear button in the top right corner of the site thumbnail. There you will find an 'Export Site' feature.
Then go to the 'Sites' panel and you can import your site by clicking on the 'Import Site'.
Thanks for the advice.
How do I save it to Google drive though? I tried and it just put 30+ files into a folder.
Click on publish, select the "Google Drive" option, enter your email and password. The index page should be opened in your browser.
Please note that .html pages cannot be opened in Mobirise. It can work with its native files only (.mobirise).
Ok thanks, that works now, and our President cana review our drafts.
So how do I publish the pages, when they are finished to our domain?
The Mobirise app is a website builder only, it do not provide a hosting service or anything like that.
You have a possibility publish you site to folder (in this case your files will be saved on your local disk) and copy its files to your server, or try to publish your site to your ftp server directly from the app.
Sorry, yes, I understand. We host our old site with godaddy.com I think, and would use that same domain.
It was more a question on how to get the files out of Mobirise, so our IT person can put them on godaddy.com.
One other question: Are we required to have an index page on the site? I can't seem to delete mine. I want the first page to be the one I built called 'main.html'.
1) Click on "Publish" and select "Local drive folder" to publish your site to folder.
2) You can go to pages to rename your page, please don't forget to keep an extension (.html). Find the screenshot attached.
I couldn't get the contact form to work. Here is the website
So far I love your product.
I have checked your email, it seems that your forms are saved, but you don't receive messages.
We use Formoid to process forms, so maybe you should verify your email in it.
You should receive the email with your password. Go to formoid.net and log in with your email. If there is a note that you are not verified, please verify your email.
