I am having a problem uploading a finished Mobirise easy web builder website to my host provider. No matter what I do using the FTP option I get an a box that says its initialising but then just hangs. (See screenshot).
I am using the MAC version 2.9 and MAC OSX ElCapitan. I have also tried the Windows version on Windows 7 and I get the same result. Is there an issue / bug with ftp uploading?
I have now also tried to export this website to a local folder and get the same message so it appears it’s just not ftp.

Please try to relaunch your app and publish your site to a local folder. Maybe there is some issue with publishing to your FTP server. Please use another service to publish your site to a server.
While waiting for your reply I used an Ftp programme called FileZilla. As FileZilla started to upload I was prompted to accept the security certificate before IT commenced and once I accepted the security prompt it then transferred without any problems. It might be that the built in FTP agent you have needs to have some sort of dialog box to accept or deny the security challenge / certificate which would then allow the upload to commence. Could be something to add to your new features in the future.
Thank you for this info, I have sent it to our dev team.
Ok, so looking into the underscored page name issue. I found those pages had the underscore in the project as well. It IS possible that I typed them that way. I tested it by renaming a page from 'about us.html' to about_us.html, relinked it and it worked as it should. I did notice on publish the original about us.html page was not renamed but a new about_us.html was created. if the user does not update all links to a renamed page it could result in multiple orphaned pages and links to pages that do not get updated.
Please don't use spaces in filenames.
If the underscore was put there by me, the question is why did the links stop working? I do think the missing image issue is directly related to the fav icon. I went to all sites and re-selected the fav icon and the sites no longer have errors publishing.
Maybe the fav icon issue and the underscore issue are related. Hope this information is helpful.
Just some suggestions for ease of use;
a "save" button on the top that exports to a folder, predefined in the site settings.
Publish does not save the "publish folder" for FTP. Not sure if that is intentional It should remain editable but, I think, once set, sites would most often be published to the same folder each time.
I have had requests for more fonts. It would be nice if it could use the fonts from windows in the Mobirise app. If not a larger selection or maybe an editable font folder? I tried using graphics as a work around.
Huge fan of your work!
