I downloaded the first version of Mobirise mac website builder software for Mac. I got my website up and running but I'm having issues with social network section. There seams to be no way to edit the Facebook, Twitter and Gmail+ settings to switch over to my account.
Also, I downloaded version 1.4? And I'm not able to open my website files created with v1.1 or v1.2? Also is there going to be any block available to add html code?
I'm not a website designer or programmer. I own a small limousine service. This program works good but just needs a couple of tweeks. Any thoughts?
These Facebook, Twitter and Gmail+ buttons are Share Buttons actually, so your users will be able to share your page.
The link to your page will be added automatically. You can change the description in the
title field. Please find a screenshot attached.

Mobirise is still in beta and it can have some issues with versions compatibility. Please
make sure that you're trying your project files (.json).
Unfortunately, any block available to add html code isn't added yet. Maybe it will be added later.
This is a response just to confirm, mac website builder software v1.5 won't open the website I created with v1.2. Project file is saved in the .json format. File still opens with 1.2 but not with 1.5.
I'm having a problem uploading from Mobirise to my web host. The program keeps timing out. Any suggestions from you guys about possible issues. I've uploaded from Movirise before with the 2.5.2 version. I'm currently trying to use 2.6.1. Now my website is down because it can't connect.

First off Cudo's on your website builder. I've been using it for a year and love the simplicity. You mentioned that you need suggestions for updates to make it better. Is there anyway to add in a site map feature that will create and update a site map page for websites with a .xml file format? According to Google, 1&1 and other providers, it is a key feature in the ranking of websites now.
And thank you for your suggestion. I have sent it to our developers.
Do not hesitate to share your ideas with us, it can help us make Mobirise better. Any feedback is always appreciated.
Thanks for a great product.
Do you have a list of suggested dimensions for images to work to best optimisation in the various sections?
This would be a great help for me if you can forward this to me.
Thanks again
You can publish a site with the default blocks and then open assets/images folder to see the images and their sizes.
Thanks for your reply.
Yes I have done this, and noted them.... I wondered, though, if there are minimum/maximum image sizes that you suggest. Does the programme resize the images when they are published?
By the way, I love it... and was delighted to purchase your Black Friday Bundle :)
Just a suggestion for the future - it would be cool to be able to include a caption with images in your picture gallery.
Thanks for your help,
Yes, if your images are bigger that it is needed, their size of the images will be reduced.
Thank you for your suggestion.
