When a new version of your website creator for mac is released

Your software looks pretty cool. Before I take the plunge, could you answer a couple of questions for me please?

When a new version of your Mobirise website creator for mac is released how does this work with the old version? Are my sites maintained or do I need to redesign the site again in the new version? Basically, will anything break, whats the backwards compatibility like?

Your sites should be supported in the latest version. We have changed our project system once (v1.9) when our app was still in beta.

If there is something wrong with your block, you can try to re-add it.

Your software looks pretty cool. Before I take the plunge, could you answer a couple of questions for me please?

Some of the threads in your forum have confused me. When I publish do I need to export to a local folder first and then publish that folder to a hosts server, or can I just ftp directly to my isp server from mobirise?

You can try both ways. Sometimes there is an issue with sftp in the app or something, but it should work correctly.

Great, thank you.

Mobirise is amazing. I downloaded the app and love it. This us the best web design software I have ever used, what a simple but clever interface.

Thank you for your feedback!

How can I PDF on a select page?

You can upload your .pdf file to your server and add the link to it on your page.

It is very much appreciated.

Keep up the good work.

Do you have estimated time for the release of the next update? I can hardly wait!!!

Unfortunately, we don't know the exact date when it will be released.

Thanks... We appreciate your good work.

It would sure be great if you can add a field for a name for then Email

Address entry so names can be used for sending emails so it doesn't look

like spam.

Can you please add that to the list. Thanks for you help.

Thanks for your suggestion. What do you mean exactly? Is it about the way we set subjects for email?

The way we get the email information that someone has requested is fine,

although I wish we could use a different name then website creator for mac in some

instances. I would like to use my name or company so they would know where

it's coming from in the subject line. They may not know who Mobirise is.

This is what I was talking about:

Below the line in the Form Block Subscribe to our newsletter and below

Enter your Email Address:

Add another field: Your Name:

In that way whenever we send someone the email we can use their name as in

the sample below:

Hi Mr. 1,

Thanks for requesting more information.

We will be getting back to you shortly.

Mr. 2

In that way, when they see their name in the email, they know that they

requested the information. They may think that it is spam if they don't see

their name an immediately delete the email without reading our text.

Here is a link with the website I built so you can see how I as using the

block I am talking about:

It is almost on all the pages and it is working very well. I have been sent

several emails from the site.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks again for your help.

Did this clear up your question and do you think this is something that

makes sense to add?

Thank you, I think it's clear, but the form receives submissions, we don't send emails to your users automatically. You or your client just receive form submissions. You can use forms with several fields and rename these fields as you wish.
