All the pages were erased in easy website maker

I was working on building the site in the Mobirise easy website maker app (using windows 10). I have been using Mobirise for the last 3 weeks. I like it a lot. However, as I was searching information in google chrome, the computer froze somehow (typical of windows computers). I couldn't do anything. So I decided to restart the computer. since I couldn't close all the apps (including the Mobirise app), I just hit the on/off button and restarted the computer. When the computer came back on, everything was working fine. When I opened the easy website maker app again, everything, all the pages I had been working on for the last 3 weeks were erased. The Mobirise app started as brand new, as if I had just downloaded. It still had my login information, though, but the site I created and its content was not there anymore.

I was working on building the site in the Mobirise easy website maker app (using windows 10).

Luckly, I was still in the starting point of building my site, so I am ok starting over, however, it concerns me that this could happen when I am half way through building my site and even worse, probably at the very end. I am not sure if there is a way to recover what I had before, which again, it is not that much but at least it would be good to know if this happens when I have a lot of content already added. Even though the Mobirise is the best site builder I have encountered, I am afraid of using it know if all of a sudden the information could be wiped out completely.

Do you have any idea why this happened? have you heard of this happening to other users? is there a way to prevent this?

I think now, I will just build the site in a word file or some other text editor so once I have everything written, I will transfer it to the Mobirise app, but I have to say, the experience of building a site like that is not the same. If there is a way you could address my concern please let me know. I liked Mobirise so much that I was going to purchase the html code editor so I can modify the blocks accordingly, but I am a bit worried about the reliability of the app now.

You can save a backup copy of your site project with the Export feature. Go to the Site properties to find it.

I don't know why your issue appears. Project files that are in the list should be stored in %localappdata%/Mobirise.com. Please check if your files are available, maybe you will be able to import them.

Nice, I found it and recovered the site I was building, Thank you so much. You have restored my confidence level. Again, thank you for such a great tool.

what about the feature to copy individual blocks to other pages inside the project, this could help to use content multiple (i mean not duplicate the whole page...)

At this time this feature isn't supported but you can use the Code Editor extension to copy the code of your blocks.

yeah this is clear, but the extension is not for free anymore.

Maybe you could add it anyway... ;))
