I have issues while publishing a html website maker site

I am trying to publish a website created with Mobirise html website maker but I get message "Connecting to host failed - Host not found". However when I use other FTP software with same credentials I am able to log in. Also can not find index.html anywhere on my disk - the initial page created, to be able to do ftp to my web site using different ftp program.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Maybe your protocol isn't supported. Did you try to publish your site to a folder? Go to "Publish" to find this option.

It seems that when you try to enter details, FTP server is not accepted straight away, hence I have uninstall and install Mobirise again. This time I had luck and I am able to access to FTP server. However, it looks like timeout is very short, hence I get message as below:

I am trying to publish a website created with Mobirise html website maker but I get message "Connecting to host failed - Host not found".

I have run ping to my FTP server and there is no packet loss and packets are returned in 2 ms.

Any experience with this kind of issue?

On another hand, can you please advise where is the Index file located?

Sorry, I don't know why this issue exists. Maybe there is something wrong with the protocol, our developers will check it.

You should publish you site to a folder.

I can always create web page via Mobirise and than FTP with some other FTP client. However I would be able to do so if I knew where to find Mobirise created files. So, the question is where does the Mobirise saves HTML?

You can save them in any local folder you want. Just publish your site to a folder.

I would like to be able to adjust the autoplay sliding images so that it stops autoplaying if the user clicks on the page OR autoplay goes from page 1 to page 2 and stops on page 2. Is this possible?

Well, our slider stops on hover, you can try to edit it manually, but it's a simple carousel.

I would like to have the contact form block popup as an Overlay instead, is this possible?

I guess you'd better use another service for your forms. We use our own server to process forms, so if you edit them hardly, they won't be valid.

You can try this service: http://formoid.com

I would like to host a Vimeo video in one of the page slides, is this possible?

Unfortunately, there is an issue in the app, and your slider won't work correctly if you edit it manually in the Code Editor.

I have recently built a website using your new software and it all looks great.

I have a small problem though with the upload process. My hosting people said the files were not uploaded into the public_html folder.

They did receive all the files but then had to manually transfer them to the public folder themselves.

Is there something I should be doing to upload directly to the public folder?

I’m a little confused at this point as every time I have uploaded stuff before with Dreamweaver it goes directly into the public folder.

Anyway, thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

I’ve just sent a message regarding uploading to public folders and now I have realised that our mobile friendly version has an m. in front of our address and is not functioning obviously as we do not have this domain.

Considering Mobirise is responsive I’m wondering why this is the case and how I can remove the m. in my files? Or is it our hosting peoples fault??

Very confused amateur programmer here….

Mobirise is a website builder only, we don't offer a hosting service or something like that.

So I think this issue isn't related to Mobirise directly.
