Social comments block in the bootstrap website maker

I added the comments module of the Mobirise bootstrap website maker to the page but it does not tell me where to change the address for the Facebook account or other social media accounts.

You don't need to change anything - this block allows to users of your site leave the comments on your site's pages.

Mobirise social comments

By searching around the web for an offline website-builder, I found this bootstrap builder and I really like the simple and intuitive possibility to build it offline and publish it via FTP.

With little or almost none web-programming experience I just made the first scratch of a new website and I presented it to my department. They really liked it, but unfortunately, they have several concerns about the security, privacy, and hidden costs.

I would like to clear these issues with a couple of simple questions:

- Is it absolutely free?

- Is there any kind of public reference obligatory? (e.g. a link in the footer „designed with Mobirise“)

- Despite the offline editing program, does Mobirise has the possibility to access the data of the website?

- Will the information listed on the pages automatically be copied to Mobirise?

- Does the maps plugin comes along with costs?

- Do the forms send messages directly to the given email address or will they be channeled and saved via Mobirise?

Regarding the administration:

- Is there a possibility to assign passwords for editing the mobile friendly website? Maybe something like different administration roles (e.g. admin/editor)

These are the main issues so far. Maybe some of these might be discussed in the forum, but I think for the basic decision of using Mobirise or not, it would great if you could give me some direct feedback. Thank you very much for the support and this beautiful product.

I would really like to use your tool for our new website!

1) - Is it absolutely free?

It's a free software but it has paid themes and extensions.

2) - Is there any kind of public reference obligatory?

No, it doesn't, you can freely remove all our logos and brand mentions from your website.

3) - Despite the offline editing program, does Mobirise has the possibility to access the data of the website?

You can freely edit the files of your site after you will publish it on the local folder +

You can also use the code editor extension to edit Mobirise blocks HTML code in the project directly in the app.

4) - Will the information listed on the pages automatically be copied to Mobirise?

No, Mobirise doesn't have this feature (and will not have).

5) - Does the maps plugin comes along with costs?

If you're talking about the Google maps block - they are available for use by the default. You don't have to pay for them.

6) - Do the forms send messages directly to the given email address or will they be channeled and saved via Mobirise?

They go through the Formoid (our mail service) server, but you will be able to set your own mail forms and mail server after publishing of your site.

7) - Is there a possibility to assign passwords for editing the website?

Unfortunately, Mobirise doesn't have such feature. Besides, one email can be linked to only one account.

Is it possible to publish a homepage created with Mobirise using a webhoster like "hosting name"?

You are able to upload site that was created in the Mobirise on the hosting.

But we had some issues that some of the hosting providers denied to our users have their site on the server.

So, if you won't be able to upload your site on this hosting, then firstly - you should discuss it with the providers of this hosting.
