Unique homewares and excellent coffee at Pitfield Emporium in Shoreditch

Our new favourite haunt, Pitfield, recently popped up just moments away from our Shoreditch studio. From golden ceramic guns to classic blue and white enamelware, it is the place to go for unique homewares, not to mention delicious eats and fabulous exhibitions.

We often find ourselves wandering in for a lovely cup of coffee in the morning sipped out of Klaus Haapaniemi mugs, or a pick-me-up slice of cake when we’ve run out of steam in the print room. It’s industrial yet homely with bare walls and exposed pipework alongside delicate glass ornaments, rusty ladders, formica tables and brightly coloured armchairs. Their exhibition space rotates with work from local London designers, and is always filled with interesting and unusual products that will inspire. Every time we walk in the displays have changed or there’s something new, which is wonderfully refreshing. If you see something you like, I recommend snapping it up before it’s gone!
