Bug in website template generator maps

It would be a great additioin to have the ability to add dropdown menus on the Mobirise website template generator.

There’s a bug with the maps. It only displays the original address. If address is changed to any other than the default, it does not update.

Please try the latest version 2.6.1 of Mobirise. You can download it from our site http://mobirise.com

I’ve updated to version 2.6.1 and the issue still persists.

Please find the screenshot attached. It should work correcly.

Maybe you should try to re-add a map block. Make sure that Mobirise is able to connect to the internet.

Thank you. I will try re-adding the block.

Hi! Feedback:

Pro - I like the intuitive designer!

Con - It crashed the first time I clicked on the "preview in browser" button.

Feature idea - for slider, add a text background option of opaque, and allow users to specify a color (e.g., when you put text over the image, it can be hard to see/read). If I could make the background behind the text block opaque (different color options, different levels of opacity, it would make the slider far better.

Hi - So here's more info regarding my email below...

Feature - enable people to add (easily) links that are populated by merchant websites. For example, this is one ad I would like to ad to a mobirise-generated page:

I got this ad code from a website called shareasale, but there are others, too. The ads are in various sizes (from 88x31 to very large), and shapes (portrait, landscape, and square).

Given many people put ads on their pages, I think it's a fairly high priority item.

Hope that helps!

You can add this code to your page manually after publication or you can purchase the Code Editor extension to add this code to your block in the app.

Thanks, Vera...I am able to edit the code, but the problem is two-fold:

1) once I edit the code, the block editor is removed - mobirise might add a feature (or make an improvement) I want, and then I won't be able to use it

2) the mobirise image style settings cause the image to resize/distort. I can go in and change those style settings manually, but if after that I continue to use mobirise, at some point I think the style changes might be overwritten (by a mobirise software update)

Given the above problems, and the common use of ads, I'd consider adding the feature.

1)It is the way it works, if you have the code editor unlocked, you can't use the visual editor anymore.

Please don't remove these classes from the code: mbr-editable-image, mbr-editable-button, mbr-editable-content, mbr-editable-full, with this classes you can change the content in the visual editor.

2) Could you please provide us with more detailed information about it.

Support,

I really like the option to edit the code but now that I have upgraded to the latest version I do not see that option anymore. Wasn't it an add on or something?

Is there a way to clone a site? I would like to make a somewhat blank basic web with the pages and navigation structure in place and use it as a template instead of making or doing the same thing over and over to produce a site.

You can export your site and save a copy. Go to the "Site Settings" to find the "Export Site" feature.
